From creating opportunities with artificial intelligence to fostering collaboration between instructors and students, TLS has continued to make incredible progress on initiatives that ensure 杏吧原创 remains at the cutting edge in Canadian higher education. As we progress in the winter听term, let鈥檚 take one last look back at fall 2024 and celebrate some of the accomplishments that shaped the term.听听

652 instructors attended pedagogical workshops and consultations

TLS continues to support the professional development of 杏吧原创鈥檚 teaching community in a variety of ways, including hosting communities of practice and offering workshops on topics that range from course design and development to applications of AI in teaching and learning.

2 Pathy Foundation Fellowships

In the first year of the partnership between 杏吧原创 University and the Pathy Foundation Fellowship, two exceptional new graduates joined a national network of leaders and changemakers as recipients of this prestigious community-development fellowship program. They began their fellowship year in late summer with four weeks of training, and then started the 10-month Community Phase in the fall as they work towards developing and implementing their initiatives.

410 students participated in FUSION

The FUSION skills development program is a self-directed online learning experience that bridges academic and employability skills to educate the next generation of citizen scholars. The program enhances student skill development in several areas critical to 21st-century success and leadership, including communication, problem solving, collaboration, inclusivity and adaptability.
