From creating opportunities with artificial intelligence to fostering collaboration between instructors and students, TLS has continued to make incredible progress on initiatives that ensure �Ӱ�ԭ�� remains at the cutting edge in Canadian higher education. As we progress in the summer term, let’s take one last look back at winter 2025 and celebrate some of the accomplishments that shaped the term.

551 instructors attended pedagogical workshops and consultations

TLS continues to support the professional development of �Ӱ�ԭ��’s teaching community in a variety of ways, including hosting communities of practice and offering workshops on topics that range from course design and development to applications of AI in teaching and learning.

451 students learned using virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR) technologies

The Experiential Learning Hub on the sixth floor of Southam Hall allows instructors and students to experiment with emerging immersive technologies.

219 students participated in FUSION

The FUSION skills development program is a self-directed online learning experience that bridges academic and employability skills to educate the next generation of citizen scholars. The program enhances student skill development in several areas critical to 21st-century success and leadership, including communication, problem solving, collaboration, inclusivity and adaptability.
