Just in time for the Fall 2016 term, the EDC has launched a new, fully online workshop entitled

While every TA assignment is unique, most TAs at 杏吧原创 University are required to have some interaction with cuLearn, whether in the form of emailing students, sending out announcements, overseeing student discussions, adding content, grading online submissions, and so on. This online workshop is designed to help familiarize you with a number of features on cuLearn with which TAs commonly have some interaction. The lesson consists of three modules, each with its own lesson, quiz, and, sometimes, a related task. TAs who complete this session will earn 1.5 hours credit towards their paid Pedagogical Training hours. Note, however, that this session in not eligible for EDC credit for the 鈥Certificate in Teaching Assistant Skills鈥 since it doesn鈥檛 directly address transferable pedagogical skills.
