Undergraduate research is an umbrella term for all kinds of learning done outside the classroom – experiential learning, immersive learning, community-based learning, internships and practicums, and even international exchanges and travel. Undergraduate research is happening all over campus and the Discovery Centre plays a central role in promoting and supporting these activities.
On Oct. 23 join us at the EDC for a teaching roundtable entitled Undergraduate Research at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ to learn about the events taking place at the Discovery Centre that facilitate undergraduate research and contribute your thoughts on how ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ can move to incorporate undergraduate research in all programs across campus. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Provost Scholar Award, the I-CUREUS Grant, the Bader International Travel Award, our library of materials from the Council of Undergraduate Research, and our upcoming Undergraduate Research Conference.
The session runs from 12-1 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower.
