Academic speed dating with ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s national teaching award winners
Spice things up this month and join Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) and some of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s major teaching award winners for academic speed dating.
At our TLS Forum on August 27, you’ll have the chance to network and learn from some of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s (and Canada’s) finest educators in a cracker barrel session. Similar to speed dating, you’ll go from table-to-table at 20-minute intervals and hear four different presentations from ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ community leaders, including four 3M National Teaching Fellowship winners – Tim Pychyl, Janna Fox, Bob Burk and Adrian Chan.
Other confirmed presenters include Desire2Learn Innovation Award winner Shawn Graham, OCUFA Teaching Award winner Alan Steele as well as ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Teaching with Technology winner and Khan Academy Next EDU Guru winner Kevin Cheung.
The forum will run from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the River Building Atrium. Lunch will be provided.
