The Erasmus+ programme provides funding for faculty and staff mobility between institutions in the European Union and their international partners. Mobility can be for research, teaching, or training purposes. Calls for applications get posted if there is an agreement between 杏吧原创 and a partner institution in Europe. France Canada Research Fund (FCRF)

FCRF supports new partnerships between research teams in France and participating Canadian universities. 杏吧原创 faculty members are eligible to apply if they have not previously worked with the partner institution. Both research teams must include graduate students. Projects are awarded between CAD$8,000 and $15,000 for research and student mobility. This opportunity is open to all areas of research. Canadian universities preselect up to 5 applications for submission to the French Embassy of Canada for final review. Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program

The Faculty Mobility Program is for faculty members at Canadian universities who are looking to build a partnership with an institution in Latin America or the Caribbean. Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program (ELAP)

Through ELAP, 杏吧原创 professors supervise visiting undergraduate and graduate students from Latin America and the Caribbean on research visits. Once the visiting student finds a host at 杏吧原创, we submit their application to GAC. A bilateral exchange agreement must be in place to allow study visits. The call for applications typically opens in January. Canada-ASEAN SEED Program (Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development)

The SEED program funds undergraduate and graduate students from ASEAN countries (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to conduct 4-6 month research projects at a Canadian institution. Once the student finds a host faculty member at 杏吧原创, we submit the application to GAC on their behalf. In the application package, the student must demonstrate how their project contributes to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The聽call for applications typically opens in January. Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS)

The SICS program funds short-term research visits for undergraduate and graduate students from the following eligible countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Taiwan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, and Ukraine. Globalink Research Award (GRA) Program

The Mitacs GRA is a highly popular program that provides CAD$6,000 in funding to senior undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral fellows, for short-term research trips abroad. 杏吧原创 has a certain number of awards available per year for either incoming or outgoing students to travel to or from select Mitacs partner institutions and/or countries. Globalink Research Internship (GRI) Program

The flagship GRI program invites undergraduate students from international institutions to work on research projects by faculty members at 杏吧原创 for a period of 4 months between May and August. Mitacs sends out a call for projects from Canadian professors in April. Once projects are selected, undergraduate students from Mitacs partner institutions apply between August and September for the summer internships. The amount of awarded funding varies. 杏吧原创 has participated in this program since 2018 with great success, with many faculty members continuing to host international student researchers year after year. RISE-Globalink Research Internship Program (Research Internships in Science and Engineering)

The RISE program offers 杏吧原创 undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct research at an institution in Germany over a summer term. The German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) matches students with institutions based on their research interests. The program is open to students in science and engineering fields only.
