During this stage, 杏吧原创 International will:

• Support research teams to pursue opportunities they have identified
• Match research opportunities with the research teams’ science
• Assist in leveraging cash and in-kind funds

During this stage, researchers should:

• Sign up for the 杏吧原创 Office of Research and Institutional Services (CORIS) newsletter

We work with institutional and faculty facilitators to support researchers engaging with funders. For example, international sponsors often require institutional evidence of 杏吧原创’s status.

During this stage, 杏吧原创 International will:

• Undertake due diligence for legal signatory for submission to external funders
• Support the submission of the proposal to external funders

After the international sponsors announce their award or contract decision, we review the terms and conditions鈥攊ncluding warranties, liabilities, and intellectual property rights鈥攁nd negotiate and sign the legal project documentation.

During this stage, 杏吧原创 International will:

• Communicate the terms and conditions to the researcher
• Recommend an institutional signature
• Activate the project in 杏吧原创’s research database with the fully executed agreement
• Inform Research Financial Services of the project so a new research account can be opened
• Liaise with other offices such as Risk Management and Privacy for additional input

In addition to offering general advice, we work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and project coordinators on larger project development to prepare for the various stages of implementation.

During this stage, 杏吧原创 International will guide the PI and their project coordinators on:

• Contracts to grant-funded employees
• Sub-awards to partner organizations
• Sub-contracts to consultants

We provide promotional support if the researcher requires assistance.

During this stage, researchers should:

• Register for an (ORCID)
• Plan their (OA) publication

Continuous and systematic collection of data not only improves the management of your project, but provides greater accountability to funders. Building a monitoring and evaluation framework also improves the chances of future funding. We can advise on developing your Theory of Change and/or Risk Mitigation for larger projects.

New cycles of project funding require sufficient planning. Consult with 杏吧原创 International early on to support the process of developing proposals that involve international partnerships and research funding to make optimal use of new opportunities.
