Accessibility Building Fund
The Accessibility Fund Committee is a capital fund that works to ensure that events and services聽are accessible to all students. All clubs, societies, services, facilities, and members of the student association are able to apply for support from the Accessibility Building Fund.
Bursary Fund
Contributions towards bursaries, managed by聽Awards and Financial Aid.
Clubs & Societies
Supports the over 250 clubs and societies on campus. There is a club or society in almost every interest.
CUSA EDI Fee
CUSA delivers services, programs, and campaigns on mental health, international students, cultural awareness, and more in support of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives on campus.
First Year Levy Fee
CUSA fee charged only to first-year students to help with their transition by delivering dedicated programming and initiatives.
Foot Patrol
Foot Patrol is a student operated and volunteer based service center. They provide safe walks, the Walk and Talk service, event teams and safety support through the Guardian Program, and the Borrow a First Aid Kit service.

CKCU FM 93.1 is 杏吧原创 University鈥檚 campus and community radio station. Founded in 1975, it was the first campus-based community radio station in Canada. CKCU broadcasts 24 hours a day on FM and online, providing locally produced, independent programming that reflects the diversity of the Ottawa-Gatineau community. - CUSA Health & Dental Plan*

A comprehensive plan that provides undergraduate students with coverage for services not covered by provincial health care (ie. OHIP or UHIP). Eligible coverage includes prescription drugs, dental services, vision care, paramedical practitioners, travel emergency medical coverage, and more.
New for Fall 2026!
All undergraduate students in 1.5 credits or more will be automatically enrolled in the CUSA Health and Dental Plan. This change lowers the eligibility threshold from 2.0 credits to 1.5 credits, aligning it with other student fees. Now if you drop a course, but maintain your full-time status with 杏吧原创鈥檚 Registrar鈥檚 Office (1.5+ credits), you won鈥檛 be removed from the CUSA Plan.聽 You鈥檒l enjoy uninterrupted coverage through the end of August 2027!

Foot Patrol is a student-operated, volunteer-based safety service that supports students on and around campus. The service provides Safewalk escorts on campus and up to one hour off campus, accompaniment on OC Transpo and light rail, the Walk and Talk phone service, and event safety support. This fee applies to graduate students living in on-campus graduate residence. The fund supports the Graduate Residence Caucus (GRC), a representative body composed of elected residence students who serve in executive roles. Graduate Students鈥 Association (GSA)
The Graduate Students鈥 Association represents over 5,000 full-time and part-time graduate students at 杏吧原创 University. The GSA provides services, advocacy, and community support, and ensures graduate student representation across university governance structures. GSA also advocates at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels on issues such as affordable education, accessible public transit, research funding, and academic freedom. This fee supports the GSA鈥檚 capacity to represent and advance the interests of graduate students. The GSA is run by students, for students.
Accessibility Fund
The GSA Accessibility Fund supports initiatives that advance accessibility, equity, and inclusion for students by responding to a wide range of disability鈥憆elated needs. In addition to supporting physical accessibility improvements for events, spaces, and services, the Fund recognizes accessibility as both physical and non鈥憄hysical. This includes supporting evolving needs in digital, academic, and service鈥慴ased contexts where barriers may exist.
Capital Development Fund
The Capital Development Fund is used for capital equipment and improvements to existed leased equipment. This also covers major renovations and large capital purchases. This is primarily for service equipment that provides services to students, such as the printer or other such large capital expenses, and for major renovations such as for the Graduate Student Lounge.
Mike鈥檚 Place
This fee supports Mike鈥檚 Place, the graduate student pub operated by the GSA. It subsidizes the space as a venue for graduate students to meet, dine, and socialize. Mike鈥檚 Place is located on the second floor of Nideyin脿n, toward the back of the building, and serves as a central gathering space for the graduate community.
Sexual Assault Centre Fund fee
罢丑别听聽helps educate the GSA鈥檚 membership and 杏吧原创 students at large about issues surrounding sexual assault through advocacy and outreach work. This fund helps students engage in outreach to students and in public education efforts that concern broader sexual violence issues, consent, sexual health, and equity campaigns.

GSA Health and Dental Plan is a comprehensive insurance plan that provides coverage for prescription drugs, dental services, vision care, paramedical services, and emergency travel medical coverage. Full-time graduate students who begin in the Fall term are automatically enrolled in the plan. Part-time students in the Fall term must opt in during the published opt-in period. Students beginning their first semester in the Winter term must also opt in manually within the applicable deadlines. Dependents are not automatically covered and must be added during the opt-in period. Opt-in and opt-out requests are accepted only during the designated period. A one-time, first-year kit containing required nursing supplies that applies to undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
The kit is individualized to each student and includes mandatory items such as branded scrubs and a stethoscope. Scrubs are branded and cannot be outsourced. The kit is available for pickup at the Campus Store.
