Bigger Number App

In the Bigger Number App, participants will be presented with two single-digit numbers (ranging from 1 to 9) on the iPad screen. In particular, a fixation cross appears in the center of the screen for 500ms, follows by 500ms later by a stimulus (e.g., 1 8). Participants will be asked to choose the numerically larger number as fast as possible. Trials appear in random order. Participants who fail to respond after 3 seconds will be led to the next trial. Participants will be given practice trials with feedback. Task parameters (e.g., instructions, practice trials, experimental stimuli, and time limit, etc.) can be configured (click to watch configuration video).
