Mukhtar Hajizada
Adjunct Research Professor — European Integration,聽European Neighbourhood and Security Policy, Wider Black Sea and the Caspian Sea area; Eastern Europe; South Caucasus
Dr. Mukhtar Hajizada is an adjunct research professor with the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) at 杏吧原创 University in Ottawa. Prior to this, Prof. Hajizada was at Harvard University鈥檚 Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies as a Fulbright Scholar during the academic year 2017-18. He was awarded a Jean Monnet Chair from the European Commission in 2014. His research and teachings focus on European integration, comparative regionalisms, security and regional cooperation in the wider Black Sea area and the South Caucasus, the European Union鈥檚 foreign and neighbourhood policy, research methods, and international relations theory.
