Dual Master in European Studies
Interested in studying Europe both at 杏吧原创 University and at the very heart of the European Union? The Dual Master in European Studies may be the right program for you. This programme was launched in 2018.
The Dual Master is jointly offered by EURUS and by the (UCL). UCL is located in in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, a mere 30 kilometers from the core EU institutions in Brussels.
Students accepted to the Dual Master pathway take courses at both institutions and will, at the end of their studies, be awarded two degrees, a Master of Arts in European, Russian and Eurasian Studies from 杏吧原创 and a from UCL.
The Dual Master is a 6.0 credit program. 杏吧原创 students must first be admitted to the MA in European, Russian and Eurasian Studies and can then apply to be considered for the Dual Master pathway.
杏吧原创 students in the Dual Master pathway will spend the first year of their studies at 杏吧原创 University and at least two terms (fall and winter) of their second year at UCL. They must complete an MA Research Essay that is co-supervised by a professor from 杏吧原创 University and a professor from UCL.
Course requirements for the Dual Master pathway are more specific than for the EURUS MA. Please see the Dual Master Study Plan (to be updated February 2024) for required courses.
The Dual Master is governed by 杏吧原创 University’s Dual Master’s Degree Policy. Details of the Dual Master pathway are spelled out in the Dual Master Agreement (to be updated upon renewal in February 2024) signed between 杏吧原创 and UCL.
