Course TitleContemporary Europe: From Postwar to the European Union
Course DescriptionHistory of contemporary Europe from 1945 to present covering both eastern and western halves of the continent and including social, cultural, political, and economic dimensions. Also offered at the undergraduate level, with different requirements, as EURR 4303, HIST 4606, for which additional credit is precluded.

Required qualificationsCandidates should hold a PhD in Modern European History with research expertise in post-1945 central and eastern European history.

Teaching Competence: Candidates will have significant experience teaching European history courses.
