NEW at CDCC! The Lifelong Learning offers engaging courses that bring together avid learners to explore ideas in arts, culture, science, history, and beyond.
Rooted in community and guided by a volunteer committee, the program connects participants with expert instructors and thought leaders in a welcoming, accessible environment. Each course is designed to spark ideas, deepen understanding, and foster meaningful connection – right in the heart of Ottawa’s Centretown.
You are invited to be part of a vibrant learning community where curiosity drives discovery and personal enrichment never stops!
The Lifelong Learning programming is offered for adults 18 years and older.

- 杏吧原创 University has a proud and longstanding tradition of lifelong learning, built over decades on main campus. The CDCC Lifelong Learning Program carries that tradition forward in a newly reimagined downtown program, built with and for community.
- This new chapter would not have been possible without the dedication of the 杏吧原创 University Association for Lifelong Learning (CUALL). Established by members of the university’s LLeaP community following the closure of former main campus program, CUALL volunteers generously contributed their time, energy, experience, and enthusiasm to help ensure that lifelong learning at 杏吧原创 could be renewed. We extend our special thanks to CUALL for helping keep this valued tradition alive and for working with 杏吧原创 to bring a new program to life during unique and challenging times for universities across Canada.

Before you register…
Health, Safety & Accessibility
We are committed to providing a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and accessible for everyone. The centre is accessible by ramp and elevator and includes accessible classrooms, washrooms, and event spaces. We encourage participants to follow safety procedures, raise concerns promptly, and help foster an inclusive learning environment.
If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how we may be able to support your participation. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests, some accommodations may not be possible due to the nature of the program, venue, or available resources. We appreciate your understanding.
Parking
Parking is available in the public parking lot on a first-come, first served basis and cannot be guaranteed. Participants are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time to secure parking before their program begins.
Please note that the 杏吧原创 University does not operate or manage the parking lot. Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all drivers are responsible for complying with posted parking regulations and paying any applicable parking fees. 杏吧原创 University is not responsible for parking availability, parking violations, or related costs incurred by participants. Food & Beverage
Food and beverages are not available for purchase onsite in the historic building. Participants are welcome to visit a nearby establishment and/or bring their own beverages and allergy-friendly snacks. Please dispose of waste appropriately and leave learning spaces as found.
