is a research university (R1) in Washington DC. American University has BA, MA, and PhD programs with specific expertise in international relations (SIS), public affairs and public policy (SPA) and international and comparative law (WCL). AU has a Transatlantic Policy Center, an EU funded Center of Excellence as well as other research centers across campus. Faculty involved with TRADEPOL include Professor Michelle Egan (School of International Service SIS), Director of the Transatlantic Policy Center (TPC) and Fellow, German Marshall Fund, and Professor Fernanda Nicola, Washington College of Law (WCL).
University of Antwerp
Theis a young dynamic university funded by the region of Flanders, Belgium, with over 7000 staff members and 25.000 students. Resulting from a merger in 2003, it ranks 5th in the Times Higher Education Millennials 2020 young universities ranking and is a founding member of the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) alliance. is part of the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The University participates in hundreds of international collaborations both within and outside of Europe. UoB’s TRADEPOL members are based in two highly respected Schools from the Faculty for Arts, Law and Social Sciences: the School Policy Studies and the University of Bristol Law School.

Located in Ottawa, Canada鈥檚 capital city, it has developed strong teaching and research programs in political science, international affairs, international political economy, and European studies. TRADEPOL is administered in 杏吧原创鈥檚 Centre for European Studies and supported by faculty in the Department of Political Science, Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, and College of Global Studies.
University of Guadalajara / Universidad de Guadalajara
The University of Guadalajara (UdeG) is the premier public higher education institution in Jalisco and Mexico’s second-largest university. Originally established in 1792 and subsequently re-founded in 1925, it distinguishes itself through a decentralized network model encompassing campuses across the state. Prominent among these is CUCSH (University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities), which houses undergraduate and graduate programs for over 11,000 students. The center accommodates 24 distinct departments, including the prestigious Department of Transpacific Studies.

聽is one of Canada鈥檚 leading research universities, with more than 55,000 students. Located in Qu茅bec City, it is home to the聽聽(ESEI), a multidisciplinary school bringing together more than 60 faculty members working on international affairs. TRADEPOL activities at Universit茅 Laval are supported by ESEI and its聽聽(CIRGoM), as well as the聽. Founded in 2025, CIRGoM fosters collaboration among scholars from political science, law, business, economics, geography, and related disciplines to advance interdisciplinary research on global governance.
Maastricht University
(UM) is the European university of the Netherlands. Situated in the heart of Europe, it has over 23,000 students and 5,000 staff members. Since its establishment, UM has built a strong reputation through its excellent research and education, and by connecting science with regional, European and global challenges. TRADEPOL is administered in the Political Science department of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, which is characterised by its interdisciplinary spirit.
Queen’s University Belfast
Founded in 1845, is one of the UK’s oldest universities, with 25000 students from 90 countries and 4000 staff. It is the only research-intensive Russel Group university in Northern Ireland and a leader in equality, diversity and sustainability. TRADEPOL members at QUB hail from across the university, from the Centre for Public Policy and Administration, the School of Law and Queen’s Business School.

The (Austria) is a comprehensive public university with almost 18,000 students enrolled in bachelor鈥檚, master鈥檚, and doctoral programmes. It has strong teaching and research programmes in political science and European Union studies. In Salzburg, TRADEPOL is administered in the Department of Political Science. The department is closed linked to the Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS), an interdisciplinary centre for research and teaching in the field of European integration.
Wilfrid Laurier University
(Laurier) is a comprehensive, multi-campus university dedicated to inspiring lives of leadership and purpose. Laurier is home to approximately 21,000 undergraduate and 2,400 graduate students across its faculties of Arts, Education, Music, Science, Social Work, Liberal Arts, Human and Social Sciences, and the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. The (CCPA) is Canada鈥檚 leading progressive think-tank, publishing research and educational materials focused on solving the economic, social, and environmental problems of our time. CEPS is a leading think tank and forum for debate on EU affairs, ranking among the top think tanks in Europe. With an exceptionally strong in-house research capacity and an extensive network of partner institutes, CEPS has amply demonstrated its ability to anticipate trends and to analyse policy questions well before they become topics of general discussion. CEPS conducts policy-oriented research across a wide range of areas: economic and financial policy, better regulation and governance, digital economy and trade, foreign policy and European integration, justice and home affairs.
European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada
(EUCCAN) is a key resource and main point of contact for European Union (EU) businesses in Canada. Drawing on the experiences and expertise of our members, we aim to deepen trade and economic relations between the EU and Canada through the implementation of CETA (the EU- Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) and by addressing a broad range of key topics of the bilateral relationship. EUCCAN also plays a crucial role in stimulating and steering discussions on trade irritants and raising them with the Canadian government and stakeholders with a view to fostering a better mutual understanding and resolving obstacles to trade.

Based in Minneapolis with offices in Washington, D.C., and Berlin, Germany, the works locally and globally at the intersection of policy and practice to ensure fair and sustainable food, farm and trade systems. IATP envisions agriculture, trade, and food systems that are good for people, farmers and food system workers, ecosystems and social justice globally.
Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology
COMCE (Consejo Empresarial Mexicano de Comercio Exterior, Inversi贸n y Tecnolog铆a, A.C.) is the umbrella organization of the Mexican private sector for issues of international trade and is a constituent member of the CCE (Mexico鈥檚 business coordinating council). COMCE is the principal business voice of the country, dedicated to advancing international trade, foreign investment, and innovation to strengthen Mexican competitiveness in global markets. COMCE provides advisory services on issues ranging from the USMCA review to the integration of innovative technologies in Mexican industry.
