If you are recommended for admission you will be automatically considered for scholarships and teaching assistantships: there is no separate application.

What you need in order to apply:
- Two confidential听Referee Appraisal Forms.*听These are generated electronically in your 杏吧原创360 application. Ensure the information is correct and the referees have been informed of their role. Referees should be able to comment on your academic background and aptitude for graduate school. Professional journalists applying for advanced standing may list professional references.
- One Statement of Intent听outlining your interests and objectives in the MJ program. The statement should discuss who you are, why you wish to become a journalist, what you hope to achieve in our program, and what you hope to do with a Master of Journalism degree.
- One Resum茅/Curriculum Vitae.
- One set of Writing听Samples听鈥� ideally works of journalism.听Your samples should display your skills as a writer, researcher or thinker. The samples should听consist of newspaper and magazine clippings, and newsletters (all of these are to be uploaded online 鈥� maximum of three). Please indicate whether your听sample has been published or broadcast and include details of the airdate where appropriate. If you are uploading essays from your undergraduate degree, select those that, in your view, represent your best work.
- One听copy of听Academic Transcripts/Audits听
- One copy of your听TOEFL/IELTS/CAEL/English proficiency test score*听is required if your native language (usually International Applicants)听is not English.
