Association for Equity and Inclusion in Journalism and Media | School of Journalism and Communication

The AEIJM聽is a聽student-led group聽dedicated to informing, advising, and working with the聽Journalism听补苍诲听Media Production and Design聽programs at 杏吧原创 to address racism, ableism, queerphobia, transphobia and other forms of oppression and microaggressions in journalism and media聽education. The association鈥檚 role includes creating activities and opportunities for students and pushing for changes such as diversifying curriculum, achieving better representation at all levels of the two programs, and more. Our mission is to make our聽school a safe(r) space for Indigenous, Black and other students of colour, 2SLGBTQ+ students, and students with disabilities/disabled students.
