Admissions
The Infrastructure Protection and International Security (IPIS) program is designed for:
- those interested in asset protection and security, especially those responsible for the protection of critical infrastructures at all governmental levels and in private industry;
- advisors and managers of public and private policy in critical infrastructure protection at all levels of government; and
- project and program managers of national critical infrastructure and other critical infrastructure.
Admission Requirements: M.IPIS
- A four-year Bachelor鈥檚 Degree, typically a Bachelor of Arts (Honours); Bachelor of Science (Honours); or Bachelor of Engineering
- B+ (77%) average or higher, though relevant work experience will be taken into consideration
Admission Requirements: Graduate Diploma in IPIS
- Bachelor鈥檚 Degree; B+ (77%) average overall
- Type II – for individuals studying in another graduate program at 杏吧原创 University
- Type III – for individuals who are working professionals
- Applicants not meeting all of the requirements but who have significant training and work experience may be considered for admission

Graduate Information Sessions
Graduate information sessions are typically held in the Fall.
International Students
International students should apply to study full-time in the M.IPIS or M.Eng in IPIS programs. International students should not apply to the Diploma or part-time programs, as there is no space for non-domestic students in these programs. Please communicate directly with us if you think you will receive status in Canada before taking up any offer.
Financial Support
Consideration for funding and financial support including teaching and research assistantships is made at the time of admission. A separate application is not required. In order to be considered for funding, you must submit a completed application (including all required documents) before the first deadline.
Current and prospective graduate students are encouraged to apply for or scholarships and , which are awarded annually to outstanding students by the federal and provincial governments.
