“In Podcasts We Trust?”. Cassandra Marsillo and Nathalie Picard publish article on Canadian History Podcasts

In December 2018 “” authored by second year MA in Public History students Cassandra Marsillo and Nathalie Picard was published in . They highlight the exciting and growing historical podcast scene in Canada, including Ӱԭ MA in Public History grad Sebastian Major’s popular podcast Our Fake History and Ӱԭ Professor Sean Graham’s Active History podcast. Asking the question, “Can we trust historical podcasts?”, they examine how each podcaster develops a relationship with their audience and convey expertise on the topics they discuss. The same issue features a special section of articles on Fallen Monuments around the globe, edited and with an introductory article by Professor David Dean who co-edits the journal with Dr Andreas Etges of the University of Munich.
