Chinnaiah Jangam to Co-Lead Discussion on Dalit and Muslim Persecution in India
History Professor Chinnaiah Jangam, along with Sanober Umar of Queen’s University, will be presenters at “Dalit and Muslim Persecution in India: History and Current Politics” taking place at the University of Toronto. This film screening and discussion event will explore the history and current politics of anti-Dalit and anti-Muslim persecution in India, including the connections between the two as well as with other forms of marginalization in the region.
