Join the Archaeogaming Virtual Unconference on March 22!
Archaeogaming is the intersection of gaming (broadly conceived) and the past (broadly conceived; often via a focus on the material culture of the past). On Wednesday the 22nd of March, Shawn Graham (ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´), Andrew Reinhard (York, UK) and Tara Copplestone (York, UK and Aarhus, Denmark) are hosting the second Archaeogaming Virtual Unconference. An unconference is one where there are no prepared talks; instead, participants come together on the morning of the event to set the schedule and the topics for discussion. This virtual unconference is facilitated through the use of MIT’s ‘unhangout’ platform, a combination of chatroom and multi-user videochat space, and the #archaeogaming2 hashtag on Twitter.
Dip in and out of the unconference between 9 AM and and 3 PM on Wednesday! For more details and logistics, check in with
