At the end of February, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University’s Film Studies Program and World Cinema Forum organized the very first Canadian homage to Med Hondo, world-class film director. Med Hondo was on hand to introduce his films as part of a retrospective, and participate in an international symposium involving distinguished scholars in the field of African cinema, History, and Film Theory.
