Dominique Marshall discusses the commemoration of WWI on National Public Radio
Canada Talks host Matt Gurney chatted with Prof. Dominique Marshal Chairperson of History Department, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University, about the commemoration of war. “Commemoration is always a moment to think about the history of these times,” Marshall said. “For historians like me it is a very interesting time because from one year to the next debates, new interpretations surface, and that is how it should be because history is always to a large extent re-read and re-understood by successive generations.”
