Making History Matter: New Issue Out

A new issue of Making History Matter, the 杏吧原创 undergraduate e-journal edited by Audra Diptee, associate professor of History, has just been published.  The issue includes  “From Columbus to Kony: Old Tropes in a New Era,” an analysis of the social media campaign,  , by Stephanie Vizi;  鈥淧ower of the Image: The Rwandan Genocide (1994) by Emma Bider; and two works of historical fiction:   鈥淭he Life of a Slave in Brazil,鈥 by Brendan McBride and  鈥淲itchcraft in 17th Century Bahia,鈥 by Emily Hersey.  All contributors are undergraduate students at 杏吧原创.
