This June, Healthy Workplace is partnering with Sustainability ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ to bring to ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University! This fun and inspiring initiative offers a range of engaging events – both on campus and in the community – making it easier than ever to get rolling. It’s a great opportunity to hop on your bike, enjoy the fresh air, and discover the city from a whole new perspective.

Whether you’re commuting to campus or just out for a ride, cycling is a simple way to build more movement into your day while choosing a greener option.

Let’s Bike Month Ottawa encourages our community to swap car trips for bike rides, helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. Participants can also track their impact and see how their rides are contributing to a more sustainable Ottawa.

1. Join the Road Ravens

Sustainability ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and Healthy Workplace invite you to join the Road Ravens team this June for —an Ottawa-wide annual celebration that encourages and celebrates biking! Explore the city by bike, enjoy friendly competition with friends and colleagues, boost your wellbeing, save on gas, and help the planet. Log your rides throughout June for a chance to

2. Attend an “Introduction to e-mobility” workshop

From e-bikes to e-kick scooters and everything in between, electric micromobility has been increasingly visible in Ottawa. Learn how e-mobility options can help support you to stay mobile, overcome common challenges with active transportation, and more! This workshop will also cover some of the legal aspects of e-micromobility devices in Ottawa and Ontario.

3. Don’t have a bike? Consider ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´’s Bike Loan Program!

Supporting ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University’s sustainability goals, the bike loan program is available to all continuing faculty and staff members. Visit the Sustainability Website to learn more.

4. Connect with Ottawa’s Cycling Community
