One Mouth, Two Ears: Why Disciplined Listening Might Save Us

When problems become complex, our instinct is to speak more, explain more, persuade more, and defend our positions.

But the problems that increasingly define our world:

…are not suffering from a lack of opinions. They are suffering from a lack of disciplined listening.

The Humanities taught me to think.

Cultivating Safe Spaces taught me to listen.

And I have come to believe that listening is one of the most transformative forms of leadership available to us today.
