EU Issues Conference for High School Students 2025

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the Centre for European Studies is hosting a one-day conference for high school students at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University. The conference will focus on important topics and issues relating to the European Union (EU).

Here is a list of the topics:

  • BREAKING NEWS! Media Frenzy & Far-right Politics Game
  • EU Protests in Georgia: EU-Georgian Relations and the Rise of the Georgian Dream Party
  • Allies in Uncertainty: Canada-EU Relations in the Trump Era
  • War, Change, and Alliance: The Shifting Ties Between Ukraine and the EU
  • The European Union in Crisis Mode: Energy Policy in Wartime

Students will have the opportunity to engage with a keynote speaker in the morning and attend a choice of three interactive workshops throughout the day presented by graduate students at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University. Students studying history, politics, world issues, economics, law, social sciences, and related courses are encouraged to join the conference.
