Alicia Kalmanovitch

PhD Candidate

ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ me: I live in Calgary on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7 and Métis Region 3, and have had the privilege of working in various social work positions across Canada. Rooted in a belief in social change, my work has focused on community development, policy, and teaching. My doctoral research looks at the possibilities, challenges, and complexities of using Holocaust education within schools of social work to teach social justice. When I’m not reading and writing, you can find me skiing and hiking in the mountains with my family. I invite you to connect with me to explore opportunities for collaboration.
