Celebrating 75 Years of the School of Social Work
On January 16, 2025, the School of Social Work commemorated its 75th anniversary, alongside the Centre for Studies on Poverty and Social Citizenship marking its 50th anniversary. To celebrate, we co-hosted three important events: a webinar discussing ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University’s partnership with the University of Hargeisa to develop their social work program, a lunch featuring a keynote address by Natalie Appleyard of Citizens for Public Justice, and an emerging scholars panel featuring three PhD students in the School.
