In March, nine 杏吧原创 University students travelled to Toronto to participate in the . Approximately 40 contestants delivered their speech in Korean at the national event, which was held at the University of Toronto.

Rachel Share, who won first prize for the advanced category at the 4th Annual Korean Speech Contest at 杏吧原创 earlier this year, placed second in the advanced category. Brennard Indanan, who won second prize for the intermediate category at the 4th Annual Korean Speech Contest, placed third in the intermediate category.
