Ethan Ullmann
Biography
Ethan Ullmann is a recent graduate from Queen鈥檚 University, where he obtained a Master鈥檚 in Political and Legal Thought. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor鈥檚 in Political Science from the University of Toronto. While attending these institutions, Ethan鈥檚 research was centred on exploring theories of political legitimacy, with a master’s thesis focused specifically on contemporary Canadian political legitimacy.
Professionally, a majority of Ethan鈥檚 work has been in political staffing. Between 2015 and 2025, Ethan helped run numerous Parliamentary campaigns at both the Federal and Provincial levels. Additionally, since 2020, Ethan has worked as a musician and mascot for the band 鈥淪haron, Randi, & Friends,鈥� the successor to 鈥淪haron, Lois, & Bram.鈥� These professional experiences have allowed Ethan to travel throughout the country, giving him a greater appreciation of just how fascinating a place Canada is.
Now, Ethan is pursuing journalism, hoping to foster greater understanding amongst Canadians from coast to coast. He is delighted to join the Master of Journalism program.
