NPSIA has prepared and trained leaders for careers in international affairs since it first began offering graduate programs at 杏吧原创 University in 1965.
Today, NPSIA counts among it鈥檚 alumni currently serving ambassadors, senior public servants and leaders in global business. In addition, NPSIA has produced some of the world’s most recognized and skilled development and non-governmental professionals.
In the early 1990鈥檚 NPSIA faculty played a major role in the development of Canada鈥檚 own Foreign Service Institute.
In 2005, NPSIA Director Dr. Fen Hampson established the position of Director of Professional Training and Development, with the cooperation of the Dean of Public Affairs, to support the management of the first customized programs in professional Diplomatic training.
Today NPSIA-PTD is the centre for continuing learning and is set to build on the success of the School and it鈥檚 well-earned reputation for effective professional training and development.
