Daiva Stasiulis Awarded Marston LaFrance 2016-17 Research Fellowship
The 2016-17 Marston LaFrance Research Fellowship has been awarded to MDS scholar and Professor of Sociology .
The fellowship was established in 1979 in memory of Marston LaFrance, former Ӱԭ Dean of Arts, and is intended as the “senior” award for faculty in the with a very significant track record of outstanding research. It is awarded in order to facilitate the completion of a major research project that requires significant release time, and Prof. Stasiulis will use the fellowship to complete work on her book, The Emotional Cartography of Citizenship: The Lebanese Diaspora in the Shadow of War.
