Mark Okello Oyat is a Ugandan refugee residing in Dadaab, Kenya. He is the director of a community-based research organization, 迟丑别听Dadaab Response Association (DRA),听that positions Mark and his team as refugee scholars in encampment. Some of their work听on refugee education has been听published in听LERRN鈥檚听Working听Paper听Series, such as Mark’s Working Paper 鈥�Investigating Corporal Punishment in Refugee Secondary Schools in Dadaab, Kenya.鈥�
Mark is a graduate of the Master of Education and a research-based study in Language, Culture and Teaching, from York University through the in 2020. He had a Bachelor of Arts at the same University and passed with the highest honour, Summa Cum Laude.
