I am a first year Ph.D. student enrolled in a combined degree in history and political economy. Before coming to 杏吧原创 my work focused on migrations to Italy (and Europe) via the Central Mediterranean route. As a continuation of my work in an academic fashion, my thesis aims at examining the peculiarity of the Italian case while establishing a continuum between Italy鈥檚 imperial or colonial past and its present policy of migrants鈥 exclusion. As part of my involvement with LERRN, I am undertaking an inventory and analysis of existing work on oral histories and refugees archives.
