Beware of phishing emails that appear to come from the “RCMP” on Anti-bullying, which asks for information on individuals or mentions a “Watch List”.聽 These are phishing emails and should be deleted immediately.

Do not click on the link within the body of the message, do not respond to the message, and do not provide your email and/or account information.

If you have already responded to this email, please change your password immediately.

How can you tell if an email is a phishing attempt?

  • It asks you for your password or directs you to a web form asking for your password
  • The subject line is in all caps
  • There is a call for immediate action 鈥 鈥渄ownload this now鈥 or 鈥渃onfirm you email identity now鈥 or 鈥渃lick on the link below鈥
  • There are spelling or grammatical errors in the email

Always be wary of unsolicited email that asks for personal information, or tries to convince you to click on a web link to update personal information.聽 These are often phishing emails.
