At present, faculty and students memorize a number of passwords and use more than one username to access 杏吧原创鈥檚 various IT systems. In order to both simplify the user experience and enhance data security, 杏吧原创 has implemented a multi-year solution called My杏吧原创One.
The first phase of provisioning all staff, faculty and students with a My杏吧原创One account is well underway.
Staff
The phased rollout began with staff.聽 By January 2011, nearly 1200 full time continuing staff members had been provisioned with a My杏吧原创One account.
Students
To seamlessly transition students from a Student Computing Account to a My杏吧原创One account, we coupled the new 杏吧原创 Email signup with the new account signup.聽 When they activated their My杏吧原创One account students were provided with a new 10gb email account.聽聽 To date, over 27, 000 students have activated My杏吧原创One accounts.
Faculty
Faculty in the Library, in聽 Sprott School of Business, FPA and FASS have been invited to activate their My杏吧原创One accounts.聽 Over the next few months faculty in the remaining departments will be invited to activate their accounts.
