The °­¾±²Ô೾ವ²¹·É¾±²Ô Symposium addresses timely topics—chosen by students—relevant to Indigenous peoples and serves to empower students, staff and faculty at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ to further their own knowledge and become a positive force for change.

The name °­¾±²Ô೾ವ²¹·É¾±²Ô, which means Learning Together, is shared by the °­¾±²Ô೾ವ²¹·É¾±²Ô Indigenous initiatives strategy published by the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University Strategic Indigenous Initiatives Committee in 2020. In 2022, the °­¾±²Ô೾ವ²¹·É¾±²Ô Progress Report was released.

2024 °­¾±²Ô೾ವ²¹·É¾±²Ô Symposium

  • Keynote Presenters: Shannon Chief, Ron Indian Mandamin, Mkomose (Dr. Andrew Judge), Kookum and Knowledge Keeper Barbara Bruce and Elder Charlotte Nolin, and Jackie Tenute and Louella Tobias.
