Costs and Funding
Students participating in the Exchange Program pay tuition as usual to ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University. Students should consider some of the following expenses when considering and budgeting for an exchange:
- Airfare
- Books and supplies
- Living expenses – Students may wish to research a cost of living index along with expected housing costs
- Miscellaneous expenses
- Medical and travel insurance
- Passport and student visa
- $100 application fee
ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University Funding Opportunities:

- Bursary recipients will be required to demonstrate financial need; awarding of bursaries is subject to the availability of funds
- Application available on ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Central
- Deadline: Late June

- Students who have not applied for the CU Outgoing Exchange Bursary are encouraged to apply for the CU General Undergraduate Bursary
- Students must indicate that they are participating in an exchange in their application
- Application available on ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Central
- Open between September and October

- Open to undergraduate students participating in an exchange with partner universities
- Students will be notified once applications open in November
- Deadline: Early February
Government Student Aid

- Students can still apply for OSAP while on exchange, so ensure you apply early to receive your funding before your exchange
- Remember to put ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University as the post-secondary school you plan on attending
- Contact the Awards and Financial Aid Office to make sure you have completed all requirements before your exchange

- Out-of-province students will need to apply for funding directly through their home province
- All supporting documentation will be submitted directly to your Student Support Branch in your home province
