In Memoriam: Professor Emeritus John Tunbridge
The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies mourns the passing of John Tunbridge. John was a graduate of St. John鈥檚 College (1964), Cambridge (1968) and received his Ph.D. from Bristol University (1971). He joined 杏吧原创 in 1969 and undertook visiting teaching commitments in Australia, the UK and South Africa. He co-authored The Tourist-Historic City (Elsevier, London, 2000) and Dissonant Heritage (Wiley, Chichester, 1996). John retired from the department July 1st, 2008. The funeral is a private service, to be held at Cole Funeral Service at Pinecrest Cemetery on 27 September 2024. .
