Biography
Folake Oluokun is a PhD candidate in 杏吧原创 University鈥檚 Ethics and Public Affairs Program. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. She also holds a master鈥檚 degree in citizenship education from the University of London, a master鈥檚 degree in anti-corruption studies from the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), Laxenburg, Austria, and a master鈥檚 degree in public ethics from Saint Paul University, Ottawa. Folake鈥檚 master鈥檚 thesis at Saint Paul University explored the moral obligations involved in Canada鈥檚 immigration policy and their implications for global justice. Her current research examines how Canada鈥檚 policy on multiculturalism shapes and influences the building or erosion of civic trust, with particular focus on the experiences of African immigrants.
