B.A. Honours English with Co-op
Are you interested in gaining valuable employment experience while pursuing a degree in English? 杏吧原创 offers a for English Majors. Students can choose this option when they apply to the university or after beginning their program at 杏吧原创. In addition to completing their English coursework requirements, co-op students take a course that teaches them how to present themselves professionally to employers and then they apply for full-time, paid work-term placements that use skills developed in their studies. English students in the program have worked for employers such as:

- Canadian Association of Family Resource Planning
- Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada
- Department of Justice
- Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
- QC Career School
- Ministry of Transportation (Ontario)

- Natural Resources Canada
Co-op Requirements
Students registered full-time in the B.A. Honours English program may apply to the if they achieve the following:
- an overall minimum CGPA of 9.0 at the end of second year
- successful completion of COOP 1000, the online preparatory course, during the winter term of second year
To receive the Co-op designation on their final transcript and diploma, students must
- satisfy the normal requirements for graduation in the B.A. Honours English program
- successfully complete three work terms of four months each
