Emma D’Amico

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Environmental humanities; Climate crisis; Ecocriticism; Affect theory; Atmospheric humanities; Decolonial studies; Genre fiction; Speculative fiction; Climate fiction; Climate crisis and narrative.

CURRENT RESEARCH:
Emma鈥檚 research focuses on climate narratives, collective emotions, and climate-changed futures. She is dedicated to social change and works to participate in discussions around pedagogies that facilitate engagement with the climate crisis and affective responses to it. Her approach, informed by decolonial, affect, the humanities, and climate justice theories, works to produce new insights into how to address a climate crisis changed future.
