Specialization in Data Science

杏吧原创鈥檚 new collaborative master鈥檚 in Data Science is geared at graduate students and high-tech professionals who are interested in understanding how to analyze and use 鈥榖ig data鈥� sets collected by governments, industry, NGOs etc. for purposes such as generating personal recommendations for online shopping, improving the efficiency of health care delivery or predicting national security threats.

You will earn your degree in one of the academic disciplines listed below with a Specialization in Data Science (or an MBA Concentration in Business Analytics) through research or coursework that addresses a data science challenge.

Admission Requirements for Specialization

  • Honours bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Be admitted to and maintain current registration in one of the participating Master鈥檚 programs. To see the admission requirements for the participating Master鈥檚 programs, please visit the respective program department websites. Admissions questions should be directed to the department to which you are applying
  • Admission to the collaborative Master鈥檚 program in Data Science is competitive and determined at the time of admission into the participating Master鈥檚 program

How to Apply

Interested in applying to the collaborative Master鈥檚 program in Data Science? You must first create a account, and once you’ve chosen your program (see participating programs above), you must select 鈥榶es鈥� to the 鈥淚 am interested in Data Science鈥�聽question asked in the聽Program Details聽portion of the online application. You will then be prompted to indicate your general rationale for applying to the collaborative Master鈥檚 program in Data Science, including your academic background, academic interests, and career goals.
