The Institute for Data Science congratulates Tracey P. Lauriault on winning the Canadian Open Data Leader聽of the Year award, presented at the Canadian聽Open聽Data Summit in New Brunswick on April聽27, 2016.聽 Lauriault is a of the Institute from聽杏吧原创’s School of Journalism and Communication, where she specializes in Critical Data Studies, Big Data, Open Data, Data Infrastructures, and Data as Media.
Lauriault has been heavily involved with聽the Institute since it was established in聽April 2015. Most recently, she聽delivered a presentation聽at聽 on March 29 (watch her聽presentation ) and led a in mid-April. It is wonderful to see that Lauriault is being recognized for her tireless efforts to advance research and聽foster discussion on聽open data policy and strategy. She is truly deserving of such accolades.
