Graduate
Co-op students in an approved Master鈥檚 program are required to complete two work terms of four months each, in order to graduate with the co-operative education designation. The two work terms may be taken successively or be separated by one or more study terms. A work term may be undertaken during any of the co-op work term cycles (January, May or September). An optional third work term may be approved under exceptional circumstances and/or when a student has been offered an extension with his/her current employer. Under no circumstances will a student be permitted to do more than three work terms.

Students are encouraged to apply for admission to the Co-operative Education Program by the end of their first term of academic study.To be eligible for admission to Co-op and Enrollment in [0.25] Work Term Preparation, students must:
- be enrolled in the M.Eng. in Engineering Practice;
- successfully complete at least one academic term;
- successfully completed a minimum of 1.5 credits (3 courses), including at least one of Engineering Communications or Project Management;
- have a CGPA of at least 9.00;
- be registered as a full-time student in each academic term prior to a work term;
- be eligible to work in Canada (for off-campus work terms);
- have at least one academic term remaining after the work term(s) – minimum 0.5 credit course.
