Step-by-Step

杏吧原创 CMS website can be accessed from any device connected to the internet. Once you have been provided聽access聽to work with your website,聽you will be able to log in and begin editing.

Access the back end of your CMS site by adding /wp-admin at the end of your website鈥檚 URL
On the next screen, log in using your 杏吧原创 credentials
颁濒颈肠办听Sign In.
You will arrive at the back end of your site!

If you don鈥檛 have access to a site, Contact Web Services to request access.

Logging Out

When you finish editing, it is important to log out, especially if you are working on a public computer.

Hover over 鈥�Howdy, [username]鈥� in the upper-right corner of the screen
Click Log Out
This will automatically log you out and return you to the log in screen.

Module 1: Logging In

Hello, and welcome to the first module of the Basic CMS Training. In this video, we will walk you through how to log in to the back end of your website.

杏吧原创 CMS website can be accessed from any device connected to the internet. Once you have been provided聽access聽to work with your website,聽you will be able to log in and begin editing. If you don鈥檛 have access, please contact Web Services to request access.

First, navigate to your website. Go to your browser鈥檚 address bar, and type 鈥渨p-admin鈥� at the end of the URL. You will be directed to a log in screen. To log in, use your 杏吧原创 credentials. You will now arrive at the WordPress dashboard, where you can upload, edit and manage your web content.

Once you are done, don鈥檛 forget to log out! Hover over your profile picture in the top right corner. A box will pop up with the option for you to log out.
