Digitization of the 杏吧原创 Library Series

From its beginnings in 1963 with the appearance of 鈥淟ord Durham鈥檚 Report,鈥 the first book in the newly formed 杏吧原创 Library Series, the series has gone on to become the most important Canadian initiative to make available classic non-fiction Canadian documents and books in printed form. Published by McGill-Queen鈥檚 University Press since 2000, the series now includes well over two hundred titles. Candidates for inclusion in the series are selected by a distinguished made up of scholars at 杏吧原创 University.

Given the importance of the titles in the series to Canadian intellectual and cultural life, and given the CLS鈥檚 original mission of making scholarship about Canada accessible to students, researchers, and general readers, McGill-Queen鈥檚 University Press has committed to digitizing the entire CLS list. All titles in the series remain also remain available in paperback form.
