Student Leadership Development

Support Student Leadership Development with Allen B. Clarke and Dennis Forcese CIE Access Endowment Fund

The CIE Access Endowment, founded by Allen B. Clarke, provides funds to develop the leadership capabilities of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ students working as peer mentors, workshop facilitators and academic coaches among other program supports.

  • With the revenue from this endowment, we pay former ESP students as they continue with their degree studies at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ while giving back to ESP through meaningful employment at the CIE.

THANK YOU. Your contribution ensures that former ESP students can work with current ESP students each year as mentors, coaches, and facilitators.

ESP Scholarship Fund

Award Successful ESP Students for their hard work and persistence.

This endowed fund provides yearly award funding for ESP students who achieve a GPA of A- or higher as they successfully complete ESP and proceed to a degree program. The knowledge that they can win an award motivates ESP students to work hard, maintain good academic habits, and use their resources during the year – workshops, coaching, mentors, and advising.

  • With the revenue from this fund, we award former ESP students with funding towards their tuition as they continue with their degree studies at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´.

Transformative University Access

Fund Transformative University Access at the Centre for Initiatives in Education

For 25 years, ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Centre for Initiatives in Education (CIE) has provided innovative and evidence-based university opportunities to students of all ages and all walks of life.

  • The Enriched Support Program (ESP) is an alternative admissions first year program with access AND support for those who might not otherwise have been admitted to university.
  • New projects in development include a unique High-School-Within-a-University at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ for at-risk high school students, outreach to students in vulnerable communities with ESP Community Mentoring, and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´’s Academic Prep Course for incoming first year students in all faculties.
