Mita Meyers is a Certified Public Accountant and a 杏吧原创 alumnus, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting.
Mita鈥檚 twenty years as an Assurance Partner at EY Ottawa, leading financial聽audits聽and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across Canada and the United States has honed her聽expertise聽in financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and capital and operating budgeting. Her work as Board and Audit Committee Chair for the Ottawa Cancer Foundation and the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) has provided her with extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and financial oversight. At ONFE,聽she聽championed initiatives that promoted聽literacy and ensured聽equitable聽access to education, including programs that provide essential nutrition for students and Junior Achievement programs.聽From her experience, Mita is adept聽in聽financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, financial聽reporting,聽and stakeholder communication.聽
Mita has been appointed to the Board of Governors for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2029.
