Gain Credit for Research Experience
These unpaid research experiences contribute to your degree as Biochemistry courses while gaining experience in a Biochemistry professor鈥檚 research laboratory.

To find a supervisor
Explore聽research areas聽of the Institute of Biochemistry and approach a professor to discuss research opportunities in their lab.

To register
Submit the Registration Form to聽biochem@carleton.ca聽a minimum of 1 business day prior to the last day to register.
Research Courses
Each undergraduate research course below counts as 0.5 credit towards your degree. These courses involve a laboratory research project under the supervision of faculty member from the Institute of Biochemistry. A confirmed supervisor is required prior to registration.
Honours Capstone Courses
Honours capstone courses are final-year research experiences. If you are registered in an Honours degree, you must complete one of the capstone courses listed below.
You should start planning your capstone course in the Fall term of your third year. A confirmed supervisor is required prior to registration.
